Whether you are just getting started with article marketing or you’ve been at it for awhile, here are 4 tips to help you leverage your efforts!
1: Aim for 2% keyword density.
That means if you are writing an article about Internet Marketing then make sure that the words “internet marketing” don’t compromise anymore than 2% of your total words. If you go to www.Live-Keyword-Analysis.com, you can plug your article into the blank there, put up to three keywords in, and it will tell you the density of each of those words.
2. Don’t submit duplicate content.
It’s a waste of your time. You will only get credit for one version of your article. If you submit it to 100 article directories and the directory you happen to get indexed in has hardly any traffic it’s not worth anything at all. Instead focus on submitting unique content to a killer article directory like http://www.ezinearticles.com. They get a ton of traffic and you will get credit for your article on their site. You can also re-write your article and submit it to other directories as well. Many people do this will favorable results.
3. Be careful using word spinning services and software
These services advertise their ability to take an article you’ve written and re-write it to be unique content. While they have gotten much better recently make sure you always read the articles they give you before you post them. Sometimes they come out really bad, so you don’t want that out there with your name on it. http://www.UniqueArticleWizard.com and http://www.JetSpinner.com are both services that will spin articles for you. Give them a try and see which one you prefer.
4. Don’t submit to more than 10 article directories at a time
If you’re using an article for traffic and not for search engine ranking, there is a good reason to do that, of course. You should only submit it to 10 sites at a time. You take one of your spun articles, go to http://www.DupeCop.com, and you can see that they have four blanks where you can fit in four articles.
It will tell you immediately how different each one is. Take one of the ones that isn’t really that great, and just throw it out there into space to get traffic. You can use that one with Article Submitter Pro, and submit it to 10 places. Then find another one, and submit that to 10 more places.
