Got the listbuilding blues? Do a teleseminar series to turbocharge your list!

by admin on November 23, 2009

It’s just way to slow, your list is building at the same speed a glacier creeps toward the ocean. An inch a day, one or two leads a day. You want the Mount St Helens of Listbuilding! Explosive, massive a TON of leads in a day, thousands in a week.

How do you do it?

Follow the example of Tellman’s most successful students- Do a Teleseminar series.
Doing a teleseminar series has enabled many of Tellman’s students to build their lists from nothing to 5000, 10,000 even 20,000 people in the course of a couple months, even weeks.

What exactly is a teleseminar series?
It is a scheduled series of calls with experts in the field you are focusing on.
Each week you have a call with an expert.
On the call the expert will provide valuable information to the attendees and also pitch their product or services.

You try to get each expert to mail to their list at least once before they are scheduled to present. They mail to YOUR squeeze page! This is where you rapidly build your list, by capturing those leads.

Participating in a well organized teleseminar series is good for the expert. There isn’t a lot of work involved for them. They are able to come to the call, present their information and sell to the listeners.

Putting such a series together is also very good for you. You are able to build your list from the mailings your experts sent to your squeeze page. You also record the calls and sell the recordings and transcripts afterwards.

It is important to get several experts on board. It is easier to get a guru to attend your teleseminar series if they know some of their peers in the online world are also participating. You would say “I have Tellman Knudson scheduled for my teleseminar series, since he is on board would you be interested too?” If they know Tellman there is a much better chance they will say yes.

It is your responsibility as the event organizer to contact the experts and schedule them. You are also responsible for building the teleseminar system and recording the calls. You need to count on doing most of the work. Since you probably don’t have a big list or a lot of pull in the online world this is how you compensate. The big shots won’t take care of the little details that you are capable of doing yourself, they have enough to do running their own business. All the expert should have to do is show up, present their valuable content and send one or two emails to their list.

While I have touched on some of the main points of setting up a Teleseminar series in this post there are many more small details you need to be familiar with before you create one.

Head over to http://www.listformula.com and sign up. You will have immediate access to the members area of our Listbuilding Club. There is an entire video lesson with step by step videos dedicated to the topic of teleseminars. Brian Edmonson uses screen capture videos showing you each step to take in order to set up a reliable and effective teleseminar series. Don’t wait another day to amp up your listbuilding!

Hey Tellman

the thing I like about teleseminars and webinars is that you can deliver content to your existing list and instantly become an expert of your new subscribers.

Plus if you pitch a product they are out of their comfort zone and more willing to buy the product that is pitched at the end.
