CB- ClickBank or Candy Bars?

by admin on November 17, 2009

woman-and-computer-successPersonally I prefer pie over candy bars but that’s another story that only a few trusted friends from college know, ah-hem.

So let’s talk about ClickBank instead shall we?

ClickBank is a tool for online marketers. Maybe you’ve heard about it, maybe you haven’t. It is several tools molded into one, handling sales, refunds, affiliates, product delivery and much more.

If you set up your sales systems properly it can be a very hands off tool that will allow you to focus attention on promoting your product.

Now we always recommend the new online marketer to start off by selling other people’s products. ClickBank is the perfect place to do this. Let’s say however that you are up and rolling as an affiliate, you are making some money and you want a taste of what it’s like to sell your own product without investing a ton of time and commitment.

Here’s what you do:
Go pick yourself out a resale rights product. This is nothing more than somebody else’s product that has already been created, and they sell you the rights to sell it on your own. Once you have that resale rights products in hand head on over to ClickBank.

Now be forwarned, ClickBank is very thorough in their screening of new products and sales systems, and sometimes will reject certain content. Be prepared to buckle down and put some time into this, but the payoff is worth it. Once everything is set up to ClickBank’s satisfaction your system will run on virtual autopilot as long as you keep sending fresh traffic to it. If you use this approach to selling your first product you’ll have a much more positive experience on the whole and run less risk of burning out.

You should buy a product or two through Click Bank and also sell affiliate products through CB so you will have a good grasp of what it’s like from a customer and affiliate stand point. If your first product on Click Bank is a good one, and is what people are looking for then more and more affiliates will sign up to promote the product.

Click Bank makes affiliates feel safe. Since they rigorously test ever aspect of a product and sales system before they allow it go go live they are able to cover everyone’s backs. As their homepage says “We’ve paid our clients on time, every time, for 10 years.”
That’s an amazing track record, and affiliates know when they sign up to promote a ClickBank product that they will be paid on time for any sales they make.

If any of this is confusing you, then head on over to http://www.listformula.com right now and sign up and start educating yourself. We have lessons dedicated exclusively to ClickBank. Then head on over to http://www.clickbank.com. Do a search for products you are personally interested in. Try “fishing” I just did that and several options showed up in the search. So if you are excited about fishing then consider building a list of people interested in the subject and selling them ClickBank products related to fishing.

On a more individual level, one of Tellman’s students recently created a video training series detailing how to get your first website up and running. He promoted it on ClickBank and quickly gained ground. Once other affiliates began promoting it he was able to generate $800 a month in profit. Imagine if you created several similar products and promoted them on ClickBank, it wouldn’t take much to generate a comfortable income.
