List-Building: Finding a Way to Build a Monster List

by admin on October 20, 2006

Even if you’re not marketing information products, building a list is a powerful way of doing things. You’re selling an opportunity to 75% of the people, right? Maybe what you want to do is start a list geared toward network marketing with a cool idea.

Go look at http://www.ListCrusade.com/theformula. It’s Sterling Valentine’s project from earlier this year. He videotaped and interviewed a whole bucket load of highly successful marketers in the joint venture arena. Then, he released an awesome product called the JV Formula, after building this huge buzz around it with the help of Ken McArthur from JV-Alert.com.

What happened in the process was that Sterling made relationships with a lot of high-level marketers, but he also, on the front end, buildt a list of subscribers–of people who are interested in joint ventures. He walked away with it by having a product that he put out there and made a lot of money.

He walked away with a list and a Rolodex of everyone he worked with. He worked with 70 people and he built his business in 90 days. He built a massive, super-powerful business in 90 days because he had a cool idea.

You can build an fantastic list by having a cool idea of your own.

For a roadmap to starting and building an awesome list, go to MyFirstList.com ( http://myfirstlist.com ).

Tellman –
Where and when are any internet seminars going to be on the East coast, possibly close to NY area that you would recommend attending?

Tellman-
Great advice!
We found a cool idea that has driven thousands to our website. Prior to that we had very little traffic. Capturing all the emails of those that sign up too!
Thanks for your great advice, and keep the tips coming!

Hi Tellman,
Ilistened to the recorded sessions of MYFIRSTLIST.COM, and was wondering if you will have more coaching sessions for people who bought the course after these recordings were done?

Everyone tells you “the money is in the list” So that’s why I got started with your “MyFirstList.com” Now I am realizing why they always say that. It’s all coming together thanks to your great products. I can’t wait to see what you have coming up.

Very interesting – reading your “testimonial” about how you got started online. I felt as though you were writing “My Story” – except, I am still at the sophomore stage.

Your newest List Building Tool is much anticipated.

I’ve been receiving your newsletter for a few days now after watching your video on YouTube, thanks to Steve Roye.

I have to admit that I’m still a little lost on the tech side of what you are saying, but I’m hanging in there.

The one thing I do know is blogging, and it’s great to hear about this blog and know it’s available. Consider it bookmarked in my “Favorites”.
