List Building with List Opt

by admin on March 4, 2007

Gary asked a question about List Opt, so let me say that I’ve used it with great results. However, my experience is my experience.

Just as with any other phase of Internet Marketing, as they say… “Your Mileage May Vary.”

Results depend on several things with any co-registration service you use for list building.

First, how well is the ad for your ezine, newsletter or offer? Is it something that people will read and click on? That’s the first factor.

Second, your autoresponder messages need to be written to get people to respond. If they aren’t well done, you definitely won’t have the same results as I do.

Third, what about your products? Are they geared to your niche? Are they reasonably priced, in accordance with your niche?

It’s like when someone asks me to look at their website and give my opinion. I won’t do that! Why? Because my opinion doesn’t matter. Not at all!

What matters is how well people respond. It’s the same with List-Opt. Test and try different things if you aren’t getting the results you want. Internet Marketing is ALL about testing and tracking. You need to do that constantly.

So, start with your headline or your autoresponder message subject line. Change it. Headline Creator Pro is a great product to help you with something like that.

But only make ONE change at a time. Otherwise, you won’t know what worked and what didn’t.

I hope that answers your question, Gary, though it’s not an answer. You need to find out what works for you with YOUR list. If you want me to say, yes, List Opt works. I can say only that it works for me or I wouldn’t recommend it to other people.

Hey Tellman.

Speaking of the ad that you use, I’ve posted mime
here for you review…
What are your thoughts? How could it be improved

Gary, I’m sorry, but I don’t get into individual critiques. Besides, if you read the article, you know that it doesn’t matter what I think. Only want works for you matters. Test, track, and change what needs to be changed. Start with your headline, and if that improves your response, try something else to make it better. One thing at a time.

Hey Tellman.

One other important question about ListOpt…

What if you’ve gotten over 5000 double opt-ins
from them, tried everything under the sun to
make the list responsive but you get nothing?

This has happened to many online marketers.

Should the list be trashed? Is there a way to
breathe life into them?

Wishing You The Best,
Gary

P.S. Have you used worldwidelists.com? If so
do you recommend them>

It saves you time by tracking and testing. Some things will work and some won’t. Thanks for the info!
